Paperless Direct Debit Increases Regular Donations!
Paperless Direct Debit provides charities with regular donations, giving them the security to budget and plan how to best spend income.
A regular donation – as opposed to a large one-off donation – provides a charity the security to budget and plan in advance how, where and the most effective way to spend the income they generate.
However, few charities have brought this method of payment to their websites, instead encouraging one off donations through credit card or gift aid.
Whilst charities have been quick to adopt new media into their communications plans, including e-marketing and social media, many are still yet to embrace paperless direct debit on their website and are missing out on a massive opportunity to increase their voluntary income.
IE knows only too well the impact paperless direct debit can have on the growth of a charity. As part of a rebrand and website redevelopment for CfaN UK, an international Christian Mission organisation, IE introduced a ‘Paperless Direct Debit’ system to their website, dramatically improving CfaN’s donor acquisition and encouraging fundraisers to break down large one off payments into a smaller more regular donations – income that CfaN could budget and plan with.
“We have found IE to be a highly professional company. The team led us through the process and helped explain the detail at every stage. The result is a website that we feel will really work for our partners and our fundraising needs.”
