Revolutionary website for Dorset charity
The Dorset Blind Association has just launched their new style website that caters specifically to its target audience. The unique design of the website shows the importance of user research, and may revolutionise charity website design.
The Dorset Blind Association’s new website has been redesigned to better reflect the philosophy and mission of the charity, and shows the importance of designing your website with user experience in mind. The new website has got new features that make it more appealing to its users, the majority of whom are partially sighted. The site has removed unnecessary wording, keeping its message simple and easy to read by using much larger fonts. It also features a much cleaner and tidier design with simplified navigation to move around the site. The site also caters towards its blind users by having text narrated aloud.

At IE, we know a thing or two about the importance of user research, recently completing an international user research phase for the University of Nottingham.
