Update - IE’s 20th Give Campaign

Marathons, work with African charities, charity baking and support for a Birmingham based international charity – IE’s 20th anniversary ‘Give Campaign’ has been a roaring success in the early stages of the year. With loads more events planned this year, there’s still time for you to support our team and their work for charity.

To mark our 20th anniversary, IE’s Management challenged the team to do their bit and give something back to charities and our local community. IE’s Directors have been leading the way in our Give Campaign, both Managing Director, Ollie Leggett, and Digital Services Director, Oliver Westmancott, have been devoting a proportion of their time to supporting charities close to their heart.

Ollie has been devoting his time to his role as a trustee of Reach the People Charity. Reach is a people first organisation working in partnership to maximise positivity, independence and participation alongside those most in need within our communities. The charity's services cover everything from homelessness to health and wellbeing, domestic abuse to registered care and community based tenancy services.

This year Ollie will take on The Edinburgh Marathon – his first marathon – in aid of IE’s Give campaign. The IE team has sponsored Ollie to the tune of £500, and he has currently raised over £1,200. If you would like to support his fundraising efforts for Reach – there’s still time!

Oliver Westmancott – IE’s Digital Services Director – is devoting 10% of his time to help a charity close to his heart in Africa. Oliver said; “Those who know me well will know how I've been growing a deep interest in Africa for several years. I've repeatedly travelled out to visit and serve communities in Zambia and South Africa with the charity Hands at Work”.

This year, with IE's full support, Oliver will be giving every other Friday to serving Hands at Work. His hard work is helping the charity to establish and grow its UK office to support even more orphans and vulnerable children in Africa. You can learn a bit more about Hands at Work on their website.

We are planning to continue our fundraising efforts throughout the year so keep in touch with us via our blog.

Thanks for standing with us and supporting us in our 20th anniversary efforts.
