Website Provides Foundations for Success
We’re delighted that our new website designed for client Local Authority Building Control (LABC) has been launched, improving their online experience for both member and non-member organisations.
LABC is a non-profit membership organisation representing all local authority building control departments in England and Wales. They challenged IE’s digital creatives to design and build a responsive, CMS driven website to help them better communicate and engage with members.
IE kicked off the project with a consultancy phase; including wireframing, to structure the new website, and research into user journeys for both members and public users. We then built the responsive website incorporating both standard and member areas.
Throughout the project, we used a method of rapid prototyping — an approach where the web design and build are developed in iterations with multiple review and refinement periods. Typically, this approach is best suited to clients who want to see built results as soon as possible, with restrictive timescales within which to complete a project. If you want to find out more about IE’s Rapid Prototyping approach and how it can be used to benefit your organisation get in touch here.
Though only recently launched, the new website has received great feedback from users. Check out the new website here.
Does your website need to cater to both members and non-members? Find out about our 15 year history of working with membership organisations.
