IE Digital works with charity, health and education clients up and down the UK, as well as internationally. Sometimes we work for large charities and universities that are household names, and sometimes we help small health and social care providers, colleges, or startups with big ambitions. If you’re a values-driven organisation looking for a charity website, a healthcare app, or a university website, then we’d love to add you to our list of clients!

Open Doors International serves persecuted Christians worldwide through bible delivery, bible training, practical support, advocacy and prayer.
IE developed the prototype for an interactive app to engage with current and potential Open Doors supporters, help them to identify with the real life decisions faced by persecuted Christians across the world. "Stuck" uses video content to describe the dilemma freezes at the decision point. The group is then challenged to discuss what they'd do in this scenario, before the rest of the video plays out.
IE also delivered digital consultancy around customer journeys through Open Doors' suite of international websites.
Most recently, our MD Ollie Leggett used Open Doors International as a case study for his Executive MBA final project, entitled "Assessing the value of the CBIRM (Corporate Brand Identity and Reputation Matrix) framework to an international charity seeking to re-articulate its corporate brand".

ISEAL is the global membership organisation for ambitious, collaborative and transparent sustainability systems. ISEAL is driving collective efforts to tackle the most pressing sustainability issues and create a world where Markets are a force for good.
ISEAL initially came to IE to support their existing website and provide digital advice spanning a number of projects. January 2018 saw the launch of ISEAL’s new website – built by IE Digital in Drupal 8 – with an improved user experience, designed to attract new members and stimulate more active engagement with visitors.
Next in the plan is a new improved community site for ISEAL’s members.
IE Digital are a pleasure to work with, they stuck to project deadlines, delivered on time, and collaborated well – as a result, considering the tight timescales to deliver this project, it really did run smoothly.

Central England Co-operative is one of the UK's largest independent co-operatives – a £1 billion business with over 400 trading outlets including food stores, funeral homes, travel agencies and more. As part of the wider co-operative movement, they work together to provide all sorts of benefits for their members and customers.
Central England Co-operative appointed IE as its digital partner, to provide outsourced development services to supplement the skills of the in-house team.
We kicked off our relationship by designing and developing a bespoke 'penalty shoot-out' online football game as part of a promotional tie-in for EURO 2016.

CW+ is a charity that invests in financially sustainable innovations, facilities and technologies, to improve clinical outcomes for patients at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and beyond. This includes several health apps per year.
CW+ commissioned IE to build an app to help patients recuperating from a hand trauma or surgery. The app allows clinicians to prescribe a bespoke programme of exercises for each patient – from a library of over 90 video demonstrations – to aid recovery from their specific hand injuries. Clinicians can bookmark relevant content using an intuitive favourites system, and schedule push notifications to help remind patients when it's time to repeat their exercises.
Although the project is primarily aimed at supporting staff and patients at Chelsea and Westminster, CW+ intends to keep it open to help other areas of the health service. It's also based on reusable components to provide a framework for building future apps more efficiently.
We are truly delighted with the app. As a clinician it has been brilliant to be able to use this in situ with patients as it's quick and easy to download and prescribe exercises. It making a real difference to the patient and therapist experience. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to this project.

Established in 1990, as a charity providing drug and alcohol treatment and recovery services in London, the South East and the East of England, 'Westminster Drug Project' was going from strength to strength – improving the health, wellbeing and social integration of service users.
Despite this, the charity had a problem: they were no longer confined to Westminster, their service offering extended beyond drug abuse, and they were no longer a project. IE created a new brand positioning, messaging and visual identity to communicate the charity’s vision, and a responsive new WDP website, to give the organisation a new public ‘shop window’.
Our new website pulls all of the elements of our new look together. It showcases our work in a dynamic and modern way, allowing us to better disseminate much-needed information about available support.

Ofgem is the government regulator for gas and electricity markets in Great Britain. They run the government's Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (DRHI), which provides consumers with a seven-year subsidy towards renewable heating costs.
IE worked with Ofgem and their research company (RbD Research by Design) to evaluate and improve the existing online application process for the DRHI. The application form filters people and either accepts, rejects or refers their application to an agent for follow-up. By improving the process, Ofgem ultimately wanted to increase auto accreditation and reduce administrative costs.
IE and RbD went through a multi-phase project to research, design and test the improved application form. We concluded with a report, recommendations and a prototype with an improved user experience, both in terms of the form's wording, structure, technical execution, look and feel.
Thanks again for your help during the last couple of months. I think we have something that can be of real benefit to us as an organisation and also our customers.

As the UK branch of SIM, Serving in Mission is an international, interdenominational Christian mission agency with more than 1,600 missionaries serving in over 60 countries.
Following a rename and rebrand for the charity, IE Digital developed a new multi-channel digital strategy focused on exposing stories of transformation with on and off line calls to action around “Go,” “Pray,” and “Give”.
I have very much enjoyed working with the IE team and particularly appreciated your help and support through the challenges of the project.

Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) is the leading professional body for Dispensing Opticians, which campaigns to raise the profile of the profession and advance the scope of practice.
ABDO asked IE Digital to re-develop their public website. We streamlined their content, greatly improved the user journey, and made the site both AA accessible and fully responsive. For the ABDO team, we provided a well-structured, user friendly CMS on WordPress to aid content management. It was important to demonstrate the undeniable benefits of ABDO membership to drive retention and renewals.
In phase two, IE has further improved the member-only areas of the website, simplified and automated the application and renewal process, and created an online entry and results system for exams.
Read the ABDO website case study.
The Association of British Dispensing Opticians has been working with IE Digital to develop a new website. We are midway through a project and are delighted with the attractive and functional website which has already launched. The team at IE Digital have worked hard to take on board our requirements and come up with creative and innovative ways to deliver a great website for our members.

Part of the University of London, Heythrop College provided undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in philosophy and theology. They wanted a new brand and website to help communicate newly-expressed courses to potential students. The college's fresh new website had a stunning user experience to help students find the information they need.
IE’s brand and digital expertise has given Heythrop a new voice, a new look, a brand new website and renewed confidence.

IE created a new education brand and website for the AgriFood industry. As a collaboration between six UK universities – Reading, Nottingham, Aberystwyth, Harper Adams, Cranfield and Bangor – the AFTP is the bridge between industry and academia. The new Drupal website integrates with CiviCRM and provides a seamless, joined-up user experience across the online user journey, irrespective of the course or training provider.
IE Digital stood out head and shoulders above the competition in their commitment to ‘get it right’ in tackling the challenges we threw at them. They produced a visually appealing but technically sophisticated site, application and CRM system ... with the features and functionality we were looking for.

Business Development and Marketing Manager, University of Nottingham / AFTP
The Gambling Commission is an independent non-departmental public body (NDPB) sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). It regulates commercial gambling in Great Britain, and is a member of the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR).
The Gambling Commission appointed IE to carry out an initial discovery phase to explore the online presence of the IAGR. We interviewed and surveyed 30 members of the Board of Trustees from across member countries to understand their pain points with the website and aspirational goals for the future. IE presented summary findings to a meeting of the international Board of Trustees along with recommendations for the next stage of the IAGR’s evolution online.
IE was then commissioned by the IAGR to design and build a new website, following an Agile approach and using rapid prototyping. The new site boasts a much improved Information Architecture and pulls in high quality content from other sites. Different access levels allow members and Trustees access to different content.

For over 50 years, Agapé UK has been inspiring people to discover Jesus together, at home, at work, at university, and abroad. As the UK arm of an international Christian charity, active in over 190 countries, they're bringing people together and transforming lives.
IE originally worked with Agapé back in the 90s, when we were first founded. We're delighted to have rekindled that relationship to rebrand the charity and create a modern new website.
We knew that IE would bring expertise, insight, and creativity to our branding challenge. What we didn’t expect was how excellent the team would be at helping us to see where we could improve our practices across the whole of Agapé UK – they really listened well to us and our stakeholders, and were sensitive to our needs as an organisation.
Lesley Cheesman
Our new branding is excellent, and it has been a breath of fresh air for me personally and our staff as a whole. It’s such an encouragement to be able to describe what we do so clearly, and to know that our brand identity reflects who we are as an organisation: discovering Jesus together, at home, at work, at university, and abroad. I am so thankful to have worked with IE – they were the right people at the right time.

LABC delivers building control through local authorities in England and Wales. Their professional surveyor network provides efficient expert advice, working to deliver safer buildings. As a membership organisation, LABC also provides CPD, training and guidance to some 3,000 industry professionals.
Having already created a bolder, more flexible visual identity and messaging for LABC, IE Digital designed and built a beautiful new website, to create a visually interesting home for their range of professional support and resources for their key users: homeowners, professionals and members.
The slick new site delivers a much improved user experience, resulting in an increase in views of homeowner and LABC Awards content, and driving up opt-ins to the “Building Bulletin”.
IE have been LABC's digital partner since 2013, and had become very much a part of our team. They really understand our business, which is why we enlisted their help again when we decided to evolve our brand. IE guided us through the process and created a more flexible visual identity and messaging, to help us be bolder and more front-facing. IE then brought the new brand to life on our beautiful new website, which is helping us to deliver compelling content to more users than ever before.

Founded by Archbishop John Whitgift over 400 years ago, The Whitgift Foundation is a charity that provides education to 3,000 young people and supports 34,000 carers across the London Borough of Croydon.
Whitgift's online communications were failing to convey the value of their work in the community. Many people had heard of the foundation but were confused about its role. The IE team were challenged to develop an engaging, user friendly website to seamlessly fuse Whitgift’s 400 year heritage with their transformative work in the community today.
IE designed and built a mobile-friendly website with a greatly improved user experience. It's simpler to navigate, integrated with social media, and the Drupal CMS made it easy to update and grow the site.
IE captured our brief instantly. The team delivered an effective solution that showcases our work perfectly. The new site is crisp, engaging, intuitive and flexible. What’s more, we’ve really enjoyed working with IE. They have guided us throughout the process and steered us in the right direction. Thank you IE.

The Southern Universities Network (SUN) is a partnership between several universities and HE providers in the south of England (Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight). Based at the University of Southampton, SUN aims to ensure that state-funded secondary schools and colleges in the region know how to access widening participation and outreach activities and resources.
To support the SUN programme, IE created the UniExplorer website. UniExplorer is an interactive, tablet-based tool for school-leavers featuring a virtual university campus. Students can explore different aspects of going to and studying at university, to help with the transition to college and university.
