Mobile apps

IE Digital develops cross-platform mobile apps (which work across Android and iOS) in-house using web-based technologies, or we employ trusted partners to build native apps.

Mobile apps put your organisation, quite literally, in the palms of your users’ hands – to meet their needs, make tasks (or even their lives) easier, and to facilitate and deepen their engagement with you.

Whether it’s an invaluable tool that your audiences are desperate for you to build, a campaign or companion app for a new initiative, or a repository of information you need people to be able to access on the go – IE Digital will take you through a tried and tested user research and discovery process to scope and develop your app.

Everyone loves the idea of having an app, but the truth is that an app’s only ever as good as the idea that lies behind it, or the problem that it exists to solve. That’s why IE Digital collaborates with clients to get the idea right, and to support them to build an audience. That’s what gets our creative juices flowing!

Our process is similar to when we’re building CMS websites, and we’ll adopt the same agile approach to managing the project, and keeping you informed at every stage – from user research and discovery, through to UX and UI design, and onto build. Once your app is built and rigorously tested, we’ll then manage its deployment across Android and Apple app stores.
